FAQ
Short answers. The long ones are in the pages to the left.
Is anything live yet?
Not yet. The site, the docs and the product previews are live; the contracts are in build. Follow @usestox for the launch.
What do I deposit?
USDG, the Global Dollar stablecoin, on Robinhood Chain. Other stablecoins may be accepted later with a swap on deposit.
Do I need to hold stock tokens?
No. You deposit USDG and the vault acquires the stock-token side of the position. You do end up exposed to the stock, which is the point and the risk.
Can I lose money?
Yes. The stock can fall, the position can go out of range, a levered position can be liquidated, a hedge can cost more than it earns. The Risk framework lists each one and what we show for it.
Is the APY guaranteed?
No. It is trailing 30-day fees, annualised. It describes the past.
Why do fees come in while the stock market is closed?
Stock tokens trade around the clock. Off-hours there is less liquidity and wider spreads, so each trade against the pool pays more. That is why vaults widen their ranges then.
How do you price things when NYSE is closed?
Risk numbers use Chainlink's tokenized-equity feeds, which keep updating on deviation. If a feed goes stale, liquidations pause on that market.
Can I withdraw at any time?
Yes, subject to pool liquidity for vaults and available liquidity for the lending market. Expected slippage is shown before you confirm.
Which markets will launch first?
A short list chosen for liquidity, from the verified set in Markets. AAPL, NVDA and TSLA are the likely first three.
Is there a token?
No. There are no plans announced. Anything claiming to be a Stox token is not from us.
Who is behind Stox?
The team behind Bell Markets, also on Robinhood Chain. Questions go to @usestox.
